My name is Tasha and I am the designer and founder of Swaay. Born and raised in Marin County, north of San Francisco, I grew up enjoying sports and getting messy outdoors, while also attracted to all things girly and pretty. I think Swaay is a true reflection of my spirit in this sense.
Swaay was born from a desire to wear athletic clothes that also encompass a more feminine and artistic element - beautifully made clothing that was functional enough for physical activities like biking and yoga, and stylish enough to wear out socializing. Swaay’s designs are luxurious feeling and standout pieces that can be taken anywhere.
Swaay is a female owned and operated small business. I am forever inspired by the women in my orbit and I feel we are all connected, like a sisterhood. I’m passionate about creating clothing that empower my “sisters” to feel uplifted, inspired and alive.
I firmly believe in choosing eco-friendly processes in the creation of Swaay designs. Swaay fabric is made from recycled plastic water bottles, and all production takes place locally in California. Our artwork is printed to the fabric in Los Angeles using non-toxic dyes, and the designing and manufacturing is done in San Francisco. We also use compostable shipping packages!
